The
Mid-States Morgan Horse Club knows how to have FUN while promoting our Morgan
horses! One of the oldest Morgan Horse clubs in the Midwest, Mid-States was
formed in 1962 when the Mid-America and Central States Morgan clubs united.
Forty-seven years later we are still going strong!
Club meetings are held monthly throughout the fall, winter, and spring at
various locations around northern Illinois. We host two horse shows each year
and put on several clinics and demonstrations, as well as taking our promotional
show on the road by attending horse fairs, pet expos, horse trials, parades,
etc. We also have a youth club and a bi-monthly newsletter to keep everyone
up-to-date on club activities.
Our membership is widespread and diverse, with interests that include breeding,
showing, trail riding, carriage driving, dressage, competitive trail riding, and
4-H; however, we are all united in our love of and admiration for America's
Morgan horse. Just ask any one of us and we'll be glad to tell you why!
The Mid-States Morgan Horse Club membership is made up of individuals as versatile as the Morgan Horse. Working together, we love and promote the Morgan Horse in many different ways.
